New digs

It's been several years since I've had an apartment [and bathroom] to myself. I'm reveling in the freedom. I can hang a huge bottom in my living room. I can listen to show tunes whenever I want. I can leave the lights on as often as I like. I can display baby pictures [of myself] wherever the hell I want. It's truly liberating. I also happen to be living in my dream apartment, so that doesn't hurt. Below are a few shots of my new pad. It's a work in progress, but I love it. I don't plan on moving until construction of the Ashby High Rise is complete.

My corner of indulgence. This is currently my favorite spot in the house because, guess what? I can paint a stick of butter and hang it above my bar if I want to.

It's so interesting to think how my taste in decor has evolved [or just plain appeared]. Just like my thoughts on careers, politics and relationships, my design aesthetic shows no likeless to the tastes I had a few short years ago.
